Course could use some TLC. It looks like Odyssey is more concerned with the banquet rooms than the course maintenance. I like the lay out of the course, but the fairways, greens , and tee boxes were in horrible shape. Needs some help

I normally travel with group of seniors from cp. We have already played over 20 courses this season to date. We play nice courses and Odyssey is no exception. Links style and very challenging and demanding with much danger. Greens are extremely large and sloping. Very difficult course when ball is not rolling and wind is up. One of our top tier courses along with Coyote a Run, a Green Garden Gold, Cinder Ridge and Heritage Bluffs. Used to play Balmoral but are too pricey and won't work to get golfers to play. Greatly enjoyed the bar with drinks and food after our round. Our server and bartender was outstanding. People behind counter for fees need to be far more sociable and inviting. Coming around to our table in bar area afterwards with thanks and chat would help much.

Course has some great holes. Overpriced unless you get a deal. Course not in very good shape, seems like an after thought to other activities( there was a wedding there when I finished up).

Course maintenance is severely lacking. Potholes abound on cart paths, rough is hard pan with very little grass, never saw a ranger on the course. This an interesting design that rewards risks, but just isn't worth the money in it's current condition.

Greens were in poor to average shape. Course management is more concerned with non-golf activities than improving the course.

Have played this course at least a couple times each year driving over from NW Indiana. Set up times and course for friends who travel with me. The management at this course always welcomes us and provides a top course atmosphere. We feel this is one of the finest courses we have played in our driving area. Very impressed. We will go back this year at least a couple more times.

Course is overpriced unless you get a reduced price fee. Course is more interested in banquest than golfers.

Great challenging course to play but a little over priced. There are early morning deals and discount coupons available at times which are pretty good.

Our group of seniors and others made the trek to the course in late April. Was a decent day and we utilized coupons for great rates for a course of this quality. This course is very nice, manicured well, greens are huge and challenging the the course is extremely challenging. Our group would call this course a championship style golf course. The rates are normally expensive but we always play this course a couple of times each season because of the quality and the course difficulty. Many tees available and we almost always play the close to 6000 yds available to us. And yet, very difficult for our group but much fun. Wind always seems to be present and water is at many of the holes. Links style but open to those who can hit the ball a long way. We were very disappointed during this visit because of the food and drink offerings after out play. This is an upscale Country Club and we have played it many times. Yet, on this day, only hot dogs and cold sandwiches we're available in the eating area and we virtually sat at the bar with one person waiting on all. He was great but we expected much more even though is was earlier in the season. We would recommend this golf course to all but only with coupons enabling those to play at close to $30 rates. The finest golf course in this area that we play. This area includes Coyote Run, Green Garden and others. We would play Ravisloe which is tremendous but rates too high for our group of 12-16.
